Where did the past week go? I was so busy it just flew past. Here we are almost at the beginning of a new week already. My eldest son turns ten tomorrow. I can’t believe that. Ten years old. The years are going by at a frightening pace.
I made this Batman cake for my brother’s 21st Birthday last week. It was a vanilla sponge filled with strawberry jam and buttercream filling. I really enjoyed making it. Just as well, because my son has asked me to make it again for his Birthday tomorrow!
This is going to be a very short and sweet post since it’s 10.30pm and I still have presents to wrap. See you in a couple of days with a review on the new Hummingbird Bakery book

I just took my time and didn’t rush it. I made another Batman cake for my son yesterday. It was made in a rush and did not turn out quite as neat as this one!
